Is today’s installment seriously almost an embarrassing video to do or maybe not embarrassing?
It’s just a little weird.
In today’s video, I’m going to show you the different ways that I like to style my t-shirts. I’ve been doing this for the longest time now.
I love my basics, and I love my t-shirts, and even though I have a pretty good variety of other tops that I do like to wear and to sport, there’s something about a basic t-shirt that just feeds my soul.
So all of you guys asked me on Instagram and YouTube and email. You said, “Sarah. Can you show us a video of how you just do your T-shirts? How do you tie up your shirts? How do you tuck in your shirt?”
Was I like really?
This just seems like a weird video to do, but after I thought about it, I kind of liked the idea of this video. Maybe that’s why I’m filming it? It’s something straightforward and basic, but it can take your wardrobe and kind of turn it around and make it sort of cool. It’s a fun idea to take one piece, and do a lot with it. That kind of approach is compelling, so that made me think maybe it would be fun to do a video on changing up my tees.
I also thought a lot of people don’t know how to start doing different t-shirt looks and I find I can actually do a lot of things with tees and share them with you in this video and maybe not limit it to a t-shirt, but this is mostly for the basic t-shirt.
A lot of people don’t know how to tie it or how to tuck it, and I thought this would be a great video that you can watch now and then maybe refer back to if you’re looking for a different way to wear your shirt one day. These are very basic, so please don’t expect something like a peacock feather tail on the side of my shirt because I’ve actually seen that, and it’s crazy. This is just basic tucking in, tying knots, with very simple placements, but hopefully, you still enjoy it.
I always wear high-rise jeans. I just find it just looks good. I’m a shorter person, and it makes me look a little taller, so I always like to wear high-rise jeans. When I’m doing most of these outfits, a high-rise maxi skirt, or high-rise like a pencil skirt, usually when I tie it up and knot it up I don’t want skin exposed, at least not too much, so some of these things I would actually be more likely to wear a very high waisted skirt but I wasn’t going to like change out a skirt and pants and stuff to film this.
I don’t have time! I have three kids, and they take up all my time, so anyway, I hope you guys like this video, and if you’re new here and if you want to see more fashion ideas, let me know. I hope you guys enjoy it.
